Explosive Remnant of War Accident, Odor Meanchey province
On 18 January 2016, two men were injured by an explosive remnant of war in Odor Meanchey province, northwest Cambodia.
Mr Chhuon Sophal, 55 years old, suffered severe injuries to his right arm and body. He was sent to a provincial hospital in Banteay Meanchey province. Mr Hott Pring, 24 years old, suffered minor injuries and was sent to the district referral hospital in Odor Meanchey.
From 2012 – 2016, four incidents occurred in Chong Kal district, Odor Meanchey province, resulting in four casualties.
